MyNetNow

MyNetNow invites single parents and their children on holiday and to events to strengthen networking and break the social isolation in everyday life.

The project aims to expand the efforts already made by the Danish People’s Aid to vulnerable families, with a networking process when the families return home from a vacation.

Through voluntary social work, Danish People’s Aid has for a number of years focused on the problems that single parents of low-income struggle with. Experience shows that vulnerable families often have problems related to making family life and everyday life work. With financial problems in most cases also comes social isolation and, in this connection, there is a need for advice on a number of personal matters that help to regain well-being and joy.

MyNetNow should help to break that isolation through networking in the form of theme days, holidays, café meetings. There will be ongoing advice on bridging public authorities and associations as well as supporting personal development.
