At Danish People's Aid, we need a maternity leave worker for the finance department.
You will be an important part of a small finance team of 3 employees, where we have clear role assignments, but are always ready to help each other achieve goals.
Your main task will be financial management of the organization's national and international projects, but you will also contribute to solving the ongoing tasks in the team.
Your tasks will be:
- Financial management of the organization's national projects
-according to grants and with input from both project managers and our committed volunteers around the country.
- Financial management of our international projects.
-close cooperation with our international partners to ensure your English skills are up to par. This also includes preparing material for revision.
- Ongoing tasks in the department
–e.g. bookkeeping and reconciliation of PLEO/MasterCard expenses - as well as guidance for volunteers in using the card, payment of expenses, invoicing of course certificates, etc.

We are looking for you who:
- has experience with project economics and preferably experience with organizational work
- can both manage the economy and at the same time provide partners, colleagues and volunteers with the right information to be able to carry out the projects in the best way.
- has the desire and ability to have several different work tasks and at the same time also grasp what comes in from the side.
- can work independently, but is never afraid to spar or ask for help when there are challenges.
- can speak and write English.
- is an experienced Excel user
- may have knowledge of Uniconta

- The position is a maternity leave position of 35 hours per week including lunch from August 15, 2026 - August 1, 2026. Work address is Brovejen 4, 4800 Nykøbing F.
- Danish People's Aid has a local collective agreement with HK. Salaries are negotiated individually.
