We operate 10 family networks across Denmark.
We operate 10 family networks across Denmark.
The purpose of FamilieNet is to provide children and adults with safe, voluntary and free communities in their local communities and, through these communities, to create the foundation for lasting social change.
Danish People's Aid's analyses show that many children and adults experience prejudice because they simply cannot afford what others have. Neither children nor young people face this enormous pressure when they participate in FamilieNet, because here everyone's entrance to the communities is the same.
In 2025 and 2026, we will work together with families with children and volunteers in our local branches and with a grant of 3.4 million kroner from the Egmont Foundation Secretariat to develop Danish People's Aid's FamilyNet.

Communities with a view to friendship
Daniel, Peter and Anders met each other on a holiday with Danish People's Aid in the summer of 2024. Since then, they have formed a strong friendship, and now meet both in Danish People's Aid's FamilyNet and in private.
