Danish People's Aid's efforts are based on our core competencies within prevention and first aid work, voluntary social work and international work.

Danish People's Aid holds its annual meeting once a year, which is the organization's highest authority. The board of directors handles the organizational work between the annual meetings and is composed of 10 members elected by Danish People's Aid members.

The administration of the organization is headed by the Secretary General of the organization.

A board of directors is elected for all of the organization's local branches by the individual branches' own members, who are elected annually at their general meetings.
