The profits go to social initiatives in Denmark.
Danish People's Aid's 12 second-hand shops are located across Denmark. In the shops you will find a wide selection of hardware, furniture, accessories, clothing and much more.
The profits from the shops are invested in local social work such as holiday help and Christmas help. In other words, an investment in a thrift store is an investment in the local area.
If you would like to know more about our thrift stores or the opportunity to become a volunteer, please contact project manager Dorte Larsen on tel.: 2118 3087.
RECYCLING & COMMUNITY
""In the shop we are one big family""
In Danish People's Aid's second-hand shops, community, a good cause and a cozy environment are the main focus. In our store in Nakskov on Lolland, Lene Marko Petersen is the store manager.
“We are like one big family here in the store. Our profits go to families on Lolland who don't have much. It's a joy to be able to help those families.”
