CHILDREN IN POVERTY MISS SUMMER VACATION EXPERIENCES

Every year since 1940, Danish People's Aid has arranged vacations for families with children in Denmark. Approximately 1,000 families go out to the country every summer for a week of activities and relaxation together with other families with children and volunteers. The vacation provides a break from everyday life, new friendships and vacation memories for life.

Would you like to help bring children, adults and families together and create good times together? As a volunteer, you will stay at the resort (in your own room) from Saturday to Saturday in weeks 27, 28, 29 or 30. Please note that volunteers are not allowed to bring their own children with them on their stay. Register as a volunteer below and we will contact you.

VOLUNTEER IN THE PUBLIC AID

a good summer vacation

“I would 100 percent recommend others to become a volunteer. You gain more skills and so on, and it was just great to help others. As a holiday leader, it was incredibly nice to see how much the children had fun and enjoyed the activities we had arranged.”
