New communications and fundraising manager at Danish People's Aid

When it comes to 2026, we welcome our new Communications and Fundraising Manager Søs Lykke Sloth.

Søs will be given overall responsibility for further developing our internal and external communication, including our fundraising efforts. The ambition is, among other things, that even more people will become aware of Danish People's Aid's areas of focus and activities, that politicians and decision-makers are even more aware of our work and analyses, that the press calls Søs when they want the sharp angles - and last but not least, that private individuals, businesses and foundations continue to support Danish People's Aid.

Søs comes from a job as communications manager for Efterskolerne, a membership and interest organization for the country's continuing education schools. Previously, she has been a journalist and news editor at Berlingske, editor in the Government Communications Unit in the Prime Minister's Office and editorial director at the Confederation of Danish Industry.

-We are very much looking forward to welcoming Søs. There were several strong applicants, but she stood out as the preferred candidate. Despite our 118 years, we are fully committed to the development of Danish People's Aid, and Søs's profile and personality fit in incredibly well with both our goals and values, says Mirka Mozer, Secretary General of Danish People's Aid.
