In January - February 2025, Danish People's Aid conducted a comprehensive questionnaire survey among previous applicants for financial support.

The lives of families with children on public welfare are characterized by significant financial constraints, and many are psychologically affected by their financial situation. Many find themselves in a situation where the economy does not allow for unforeseen expenses, and where even basic needs must be prioritized.
